Royal Shakespeare Theatre (Swan Wing)

Church-style stained glass in a theatre. In the Swan Wing of the Victorian Memorial Theatre, lancets show the Seven Ages of Man from Jaques’s speech in As You Like It (installed between 1881 and 1887, and surviving the fire of 1926). The upper landing also has a First World War memorial window to members of Sir Frank Benson’s company, and a first-floor oriel shows Bensonians in character roles.
