Arts and Crafts Movement

The Arts and Crafts Movement, from about 1880 to 1920, rejected industrial uniformity in favour of craftsmanship, honest materials and designs drawn from nature and medieval sources. In stained glass it produced simple leading, rich colour and carefully drawn figures, in both churches and homes. See stained glass styles by period for how the eras compare.
