Robie House, Chicago

Frederick C. Robie House was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1908 and built by 1910. Its long runs of leaded glass doors and windows, set in diamond patterns, act as “light screens” that fill the rooms with daylight while limiting views into the house.
