For many years we have supported the annual Dorset Arts and Crafts Exhibition - being rewarded by many award certificates for excellence, including over 10 Gold Awards won by Sam or Elizabeth. In 1999, to encourage more participation in this field we presented a beautiful Glass Trophy (which Elizabeth has engraved herself) to be awarded to the best entry worthy of a trophy.
The first winner in 1999 was Stan Patterson - one of our former students who had only started learning the craft in the previous year!
Every year several of our students and former students enter their best work in this county event . This year was no exception - with them walking off with seven awards including the Elizabeth Ellen Trophy and the Champion of Champions Trophy .
Our Congratulations go to them all . . . . . . Well done Folks!
